Three areas of technology development: information technology, nanotechnology and biotechnology are key to the innovative development of modern economies. The introduction of modern information technologies in Russia has taken place over the past 20 years. The nano-industry has been active for the past 10 years. The area of biotechnology, with its full potential and the enormous potential size of new markets, has not yet received sufficient momentum for development in Russia (excluding biopharmaceuticals) [1].
